The big day is upon our favourite Hatter. Too bad we can't at least listen to the match. Does anyone know someone who can provide some sort of live match update?

From the offal, regarding listening on BBC radio:

    Updates of Luton game!

You can get updates from the luton game if you listen to 94.9fm. Its a sport program untill 10pm and they have updates of the Fulham game every now and then.

I just went away came back and i heard we are 1-0 up now, didn't catch the scorer.

John scored after 15 minutes; Luton equalized after 30. It's 1-1 at that point.

No Yanks to be seen anywhere.

Interesting note, after reading everyone bitching on the offal m-board about no coverage of the LTFC-FFC match on the site, I found my info right on the FFC home page.

Fought with BBC three-counties and couldn't get anything but some git playing weird music and mumbling incoherently. I MISS THE SHIPPING REPORTS!

HH scores the 2nd. Bullard figured heavily in this one. Timlin's name kept coming up in the first half commentary. Wish I could be watching this one. Hope Carlos Edwards is playing a blinder for the Hatters and CC is getting acquisitive.

He's probably best as a RB, but LTFC have played him all over. I think they're using him now as a midfielder. Smart, tought, fast player -- pretty much the only LTFC guy I think is ready for the Prem. All our Steve's are too old!

Nice conversation on BBC Radio 94.9 about how The Cottage is in a class of its own and no other stadium touches it, and that building a new stadium would have been suicide. Ha! I can't wait to visit.

according to the website commentary, CC's substituted the entire team now. The details haven't shown up, though.

2-1, gone final. Apparently Timlin had quite a match, along with Bullard and John. Could Timlin be the missing link in mid?

1-2, I should say. Fulham win!!!!

Now a little game I really enjoy playing, starting line-up based on latest match and who is currently on the squad:

    ----------- Niemi -----------

    Boca - Christanval - Zakuani - Rosenior

    Diop - Bullard - Boa - Timlin

    -----John-------McBride------

The lineup looks good. I'm interested to see Timlin working with Boa on the left. Good to see Rosenoir in your lineup. He only has one way to go, and that's up.

Didn't hear if Brian or Boca made the pitch, but from the sound of it everyone but Steed, Malcolm McDonald, and Jimmy Hill got in the match.

Maybe next year's rematch will be in the Prem!

    RE: Fulham - Luton Highlights

Thanks, Mike. Nice to see the old hovel they laughingly call Kenilworth Stadium again.

It occurs to me that my "dilemma" isn't going to stop me from rooting for Fulham should the Hatters get promoted after this season. What is really going to be tough this year is cheering on Jay DeMerit in the Prem. I admire everything about the dude but his shirt. I've been a Hatter for more than 40 years, and I just can't root for anyone in Millwall or Watford kit.

So... reading from the match report and the MB, all is again sweetness, light and double-dutch chocolate icing in CC town!

Uh.. Don, havent we rooted on certain players, but not their teams, before?

Who couldnt prefer Tim Howard over Roy Carroll and still want Fulham to win over manure? And I wont have problems doing the same this year.
Same with Demerit. And it will just be real interesting when Fulham plays Reading.

Except I also aint worrying about Reading being relegated.
