This looks like a Dempsey replacement bid to me.

Watching Sky SN, where's our correspondent. I know we rarely merit one, but today we do.

I don't remember seeing one there on Skysportsnews ever on deadline day.

BTW...moved the Bastos bid news to its own thread.

Per Sky, both Lyon and Fulham say there's no agreement in place but the club have inquired about him.

Yeah, doesn't look like this deal is going to happen.

Give them the money! He is an amazing player who could replace Dempsey on the left.

I heard that our agreed fee didn't work and Dnipro wanted more money. Probably moved the goalposts.

Why would Liverpool be going after Dempsey and this guy? They need to get a forward.

Better question, why would I even comment about Liverpool, I dont give a *@#$ what they need.

I'm not buying the Liverpool are interested in him as being the hang up. It seems Fulham can't come up with the dough. Boateng deal is off too. What looked so great at the start of the day is not coming off. At least we got Berbatov and he's eligible for tomorrow according to news reports.

If we can't come up with the money then we have some serious financial problems at the club. We just sold Dembele for £15m so how could we not come up with the money?

I imagine some of that money is going to finance the new stand? Plus, maybe Fulham don't rate the players as high as the team's asking price? Not sure.

Are we going to have to call the thing the Dembele Stand?

    Deadline day = 50% :angry-banghead: / 50%

Word out of France is that Bastos rejected the deal b/c he doesn't want to play for us.

From French football correspondent Phillipe Auclair's twitter.
