Yep. I talked about her a lot in the blog itself. She'll be heard on a track called "It Ends; It Begins"

If I were a Celtic fan I'd probably be really tempted to give Healy some rough stick, if I were David Healy I'd be really tempted to play the flute in response, and if I were Fulham Football Club telling Sky that we'd investigate the incident would be a no brainier.

London would be great, but alas the Franek Clan will be moving even further from the Beloved Whites' home on the River Thames.

We're goin' back to Cali, to Cali, to Cali....

Sitting on the park bench --
eyeing little girls with bad intent.
Snot is running down his nose --
    greasy fingers smearing shabby clothes.

I am obviously not the only oldie on the site. How long as that been simmering in your anger tank? Thanks for the chuckle, Op.

Which if you are close to my age, immediately reminds me of "Less Than Zero".

I can actually say I read the book before I saw the movie. No surprise, the book was much better.

Maybe Healy was practicing on his tryout for the Marshall Tucker Band Reunion Tour:

Southern Rock in the 1970s. Pretty wouldn't define anyone in that genre. : )

They were a particularly talented band that probably went more towards the country side than most Southern rockers. The flute was unusual and I think was a quality element in their best work.

It would be nice to think that Healy and the group of Celtic fans were
discussing the fine points of Skynyrd, the Allmans, and the Marshall Tucker Band. But history shows that age-old disputes are never resolved quickly or easily.

Fulham, Political debate, Jethro Tull, Metallica (great comment about Hetfield...choked on my Great Grains when I read that!) Ladies Love Cool James, Less Than Zero (we must be the same age FCCinPCB/ WhitesBhoy! The book scared me, but I think Bret Easton Ellis is a hack shock writer anyway), and Marshall Tucker Band...

    GOD I MISS YOU GUYS!!!
    -T

Oh- and I call Healy "Scrappy-Do" for a reason ;).

ah 70s Southern Rock bands -- Lynyrd Skinnard, Allmans, .38 Special, and my fave: Molly Hatchet. Good stuff.

Terri; welcome back! You were missed.

Not entirely, perhaps if Healy had grown up listening to Skynyrd he would have learned to be a Simple Man and he could have avoided his mistake in the first place.
