    and still there is no news on Cory Gibbs at Charlton. I was hoping that when we saw him in the USMNT squad that this might have meant that he's fit enough to play for the 'latics.

    We can only hope. What a marvelous player; what a shame he lost two full seasons AND the World Cup.

    I found it interesting that Padew said that our "Who?" was a Fulham player and that he felt he had no chance to sign him permanently. Do you think that means Fulham has plans for him next year or that Pardew was not that impressed and had no use for Mr. Cook in the future?

    "There is a snowball's chance in hell we'd buy him permanent, he's damaged goods and my ass in on the line to get promoted next season"
