Egypt's two 2nd half goals were very easy on the eyes (and the "Re's" are gone!). I can only hope that against Italy the USMNT can replicate the fight shown by the Pharaohs this morning.

Let's hope the boys don't end up wishing, there's no place like home.

Alright, but who's wearing the ruby slippers?

Good stuff today, fellas (and now I'll be humming "Africa" while watching too!).

So here's a question: Two EPL veteran strikers, the two best-known Egyptian soccer players ever, so were were Zaki and Mido today? Not even on the game day squad.

I know Mido had a feud with the coach during the most recent ACON, but BOTH these guys missing and they still run circles around Brazil?

No quit in the Pharoahs, and Zidan looked good. Unquestionably the correct call at the end of the match. Egyptians should be a little embarassed about challenging it so much.
