    Well I've never been to Wales but yeah if you said Welch I wouldn't picture someone like Cookie. I recall hearing something about "black Welch" which dates back to some ancient raping and pillaging. Does anyone else know about this? Catharine Zeta Jones could also fall into this category.

    A few Italian immigrants actually ended up in wales in the 30s and as a result there are a few sallow skinned, dark-eyed Welsh natives running around.
