    My 2 cents

    Arsenal over the 'Pool
The Undead over Fener -- this is not an easy draw, Fener has talent up front and between the sticks, I would love to see them do well in front of their buck wild fans in Istanbul and make life hard for their opponents
    Man Yoo over Roma
    Barcelona over Schalke

Arse over our lovely blue neighbors
    Man United over Barcelona

and Man Yoo as champions. I think this is their year, regardless of how the other draws come out.

Torres is 23 and came up through Atletico Madrid's youth system; Jozy is 18 and came up through Red Bull New York's youth system (and the USMNT youth setup, to be fair). I'm not giving up on him yet just because of that. 8)

    Was the CL draw leaked?

Notice the 10:28am time log on the initial post; the draw was scheduled to take place at noon UK time.

Seems a bit dodgy, but I wouldn't put it past UEFA to pull off something like that.

Vidic injury doesn't do ManU any favors in the ECL or at home. The man is a monster.

Still, United overcame the loss of Vidic and they looked good in the 2nd half. Two away goals and now, most likely, Barca awaits. As a footie fan, that tie is gonna be outstanding.

Everything was great about it, except............ the extra drama at the end, laying on the pitch, telling his mates not to touch him. It is that personality that will forever keep some people from completely liking Christiano.

Whether you like his antics or not it is clear that Ronaldo is playing a different game than everyone else at the moment. I took a late lunch and watched the first half of the match which I thought Roma dominated except for the highlight reel header. For a change I was not sure if Ronaldo was playing things up while on the ground or if he truly got the wind knocked out him from the hit in the air or hitting the ground from that height in the air.

Well, we're 45 minutes away from the all English match between ianhux and Team_of_.

Two purveyors of open, attacking football, so I expect the matches to be negative crap. As much as I admire Wenger and what he's done with these kids, critical injuries plus a certain Spanish striker will prove to much for them.

In the absence of any trophies to polish over the summer, Arsenal will have to continue to comfort themselves with the knowledge that their sides play the most beautiful football in the British Isles.

Liverpool, on the other hand, are probably going to win this thing. Both Chelscum and Manboy United have distractions that the Scoucers don't.

    Huh? Barca-whom?

Holy cow, what a goal by David!! (The one that didn't go in his own net.) I've got to find that on youtube, or another site where it won't be taken down immediately. That is why we watch this game!

Fener can get a draw at the bridge, especially if they play this well.

And I love their bats**t crazy fans.

The all English match with two English players? I think we should call it the all Premiership match.
