I think I could see myself buying an England shirt if Bully gets capped. Can't say I ever expected I'd buy one of those.

Hopefully next time we see the wink, it's on the pitch for England!

Sky Sports News had a nice featurette [ringing bell] on Jimmy this hour. How can the press resist this guy?

Agreed jmh, I think he would be the only name I would want on the back.

I'm sure that it was obvious to anyone who saw the interview, but Jimmy was as giddy as could be. That is what fans hope for in any player selected to the national team; that spark. If given the chance, he'll bring a much needed lift to the England side.

It's great to see a professional athlete with such a humble spirit.
Couldn't have happened to a better guy. Best of luck to him and I hope he gets to play.
A Bullard England jersey is definitely the only England national team jersey I'd ever consider ... but I'd rather go with a Bullard Fulham jersey. :)

Is there any way to watch the England match online?

Edit: Never mind. Didn't even make the subs bench. :( Guess I'll watch tennis instead.

Booooooooooooooo to Capello. England doesn't need handsome dudes in it's midfield, it needs some Bullard!

They'll probably win anyway; but why even call him in if he's going to be sitting elsewhere?

according to what I'm reading from Old Blighty, it's biz as usual for the Three Lions. nil-nil at half time, only one shot on goal.

Jimmy the Bull is NOT on the game day squad yet again. Feck the English national team. I've been a huge fan since 1966, but they can all kiss my ass. Jimmy deserved at least a chance to be on the bench. What a friggin' slap in the face.

GO CROATIA! KICK ENGLAND'S SMUG, SELF-SATISFIED ASSES ONCE AGAIN!

Nothing like touting Bullard's ability to come from nothing and making your organization look all great, and then not playing him.

I despise the English. I really do.

    C'mon Croatia!

It's too bad that Jimmy didn't get a shot at this game either. He certainly deserved it and undoubtedly would have represented his country better then most on the field for England.

England up 3-0 in the 63rd minute ... a Croatia win doesn't look too likely (for those that were rooting for Croatia).
Walcott has two goals and Rooney has one ...

4-1 England with Walcott putting in three of them and Rooney getting one.

I was hoping Jimmy would get his chance but I never truly expected Capello would use him.

I'm sure however disappointed Jimmy may be, he'll be gracious to the media for his opprotunity to train with the team. And who knows, maybe he gets another call up if there are injuries and gets in the squad against one of the minnows. I am a bit chapped that he at least didn't get a chance to come off the bench against Andorra.
