Sven is a great manager. Him and Roy Hodgson are really good friends actually.

Why am I flashing on 'Peter, Paul and Mary'? I'm not responsible for my nasty thoughts, but I AM transparent.

We interrupt this hijack in order to talk about TONIGHT'S MATCH.

I'll be actually able to watch live. I'll try to drop into the chatroom during half time and just after the final whistle if you guys will be in there.

I'm hoping for a comfortable half-time lead so that Deuce won't have to play the full 90. I'm also looking forward to Sacha Hislop's contribution to the banter. I'm not looking forward to the "Sports Center" interruptions to breathlessly tell us of the breaking news that they'll be covering after the match -- news that will have been scrolling all match anyhow.

I'm saying 3-0. Goals by Dooley, Harkes, and Mia Hamm. COYRWB!!!!

If you don't want to be publicly corrected, don't publicly spout nonsense.

    So Jozy isn't bad.

Not sure why Harkes has so much trouble pronouncing "Mastroeni".

Kudos to Beasley for an impressive match from the LB position.

Jozy, Jozy, Jozy! Way to go young man.

Landon was anything but invisible and his interplay with Beasley was VERY good.

Ching worked his socks off and what a lovely headed ball to LD that produced the first goal.

Pablo looked good and Frankie had some very nice tackles.

Everyone else looked at least good.

I do hope at some point we get to see Torres in the midfield with Donovan and Dempsey and Bradley playing the D-mid but if our backs are going to push up the way they did tonight I can live with 2 defensive minded midfielders. On second thought nah I wanna see Torres pulling the strings sometime soon.

    What BarryP said.

Footnote: Jozy got what we old-timers like to call "a natural hattrick" -- header, right foot, left foot. Juicy!

    Some thoughts on the game:

Jozy has so much raw talent. I just don't understand why he can't get any playing time in Spain.

    Ching played a great game.

Hejduk always seems to find energy. I'm not sure where he stores it.

I'm still not sold on the Beasley LB thing.

All and all a nice game to watch.

Hopefully Jozy will find his way back on the Villarreal squad next season or better yet, get some playing time now with that 2nd Division side he is with. If not, please sell him! I don't care where he goes as long as he gets playing time.

Landon played very well. I love it when they have him out wide so he can run at defenders. Beasley played pretty well last night considering, however, he can't possibly be our answer at left back. Although, he may end up being the best we have.

Everyone pretty much played well last night and we should have won 6-0, with the exception being Demps. I barely noticed him on the pitch for either game. Hopefully he'll get some rest this weekend & re-charge for the final push towards the end of Fulham's season.

Unless my memory is way off, Jozy scored with his head in El Salvador, not last night. Last night he scored twice with his right foot and once with his left.

Like Brad, I'm not sold on Beasley at LB. Of course, I'm not sold on any of the other options either.
