...OK HD, are you ready (HD - ready, get it? oh well):-

Name: Ed (Les Barrett No 11/LBNo11/ LB/ El Bee)

Birthplace: Hampton (over the road from the Palace) Middlesex, but lived a good 29 years in Twickenham (where they play rugby, you know, like American Football without all the padding, 15 players offence and defence all rolled into one).

Current Town: Tolworth, near Kingston-Upon-Thames, ENGLAND!

    College: Too stupid

Occupation: Air Conditioning Spare parts broker.

Film (Movie): Yank, "The Shawshank Redemption" - Brit: "ZULU" or "Passport To Pimlico" - oh! and "Quadrophenia". Brit/Yank: "Empire Of The Sun"

    Least Favourite Actor: Tom Cruise

Ipod: Eclectic taste, the last 3 on random selection were "Officium" Jan Garbarek and The Hilliard Ensemble (Plainsong/Gregorian Chant meets Jazz Saxophonist - Crazy, but it is sublime), Radiohead "Karma Police" and O Sullaria (co-incidentally that beautiful music 'Andy' plays in The Shawshank Redemption) by a genius called Mozart.

Somewhere in the 20th century: May 1975, Wembley Stadium - and this time we beat Wet Spam!

First Concert: The Who - The Marquee.

Drink: Fullers 'London Pride' a warm brown bitter beer - you wouldn't like it (more for me) - Spirit - OK, I confess, Bourbon, Jim/Jack/4 Roses/Old Grandad - Wine - a good Australian Shiraz Viognier.

Pet: My moggie (cat) Mitzi, a long haired half tortoise-shell persian, long gone, but still remembered.

City: London, Munich, never been to Noo Yoik or Tokyo, but would love to go - oh! and Houston where they loved my accent (and Texas Cowgirls on Westheimer thank you  )

Least Favourite Author: Any politician - they lie for a living.

    Musical Instrument: Saxophone

Crab or Lobster: Well, if we are talking sexually transmitted diseases, crabs- the thought of lobsters amongst the family jewels doesn't bear thinking about. For food: Indian or Italiano[/b]

    Favourite Statue: to Johnny Haynes

You know I think is funny? I always read "LBNo11" as a reference to Luis Boa Morte.

...I forgive you, Boa could me a dream to behold - now and again, Les Barrett, who wore the number 11 shirt was a constant source of skill, class, talent. I wish you could have all seen him play through my eyes, you would have appreciated his football...
