This discussion doesn't seem complete without Roadhouse being tossed into the mix. Patrick Swayze convincing as the toughest guy ever.

Doc: "Do you always carry your medical record around with you?"
    Dalton: "Saves time."

"Point Break" is my favorite, by far.

I would say "Schlock," but I think that's too good for this list.

MST3K seemed to show every bad movie, and make them fun.

For me, there are three that spring to mind, in different categories of "bad movie":
    - "The Gauntlet": this Clint Eastwood movie took itself sooooo seriously. After I saw it for the first time, I just laughed so hard, it was such a silly movie.
    - "Grandma's Boy": in the "stoner flick" category. Tried to be as good as "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle" and failed. However, if you just sit back and enjoy, it's actually funny.
    - "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes": low-budget, but I liked its camp. Terrible flick, but fun.

I second, third, and fourth that one. How about this amazing line:
Jimmy: "I used to f*ck guys like you in prison."

    Rounding out the list:

You Got Served, Tim, Bloodsport, Commando, Lionheart, Back to the Beach

I think Matt Stone and Trey Parker's song of inspiration in Team America World Police summed up my feelings on that film.

Now that you mention the word duck...The Mighty Ducks, all three of them, may be the absolute worst movies of all time, especially if you're a hockey fan...

WHY CANT I STOP WATCHING THEM!?!?!

I would like to humbly submit a new release....Vantage Point!

I saw it last night and it breaks down like this:

First 2/3 of the movie: Ambitious and somewhat interesting cerebral thriller with scattered holes and implausibilities. A flawed movie that could be good with tweaks.

Last 1/3 of the movie: One of the most transcendently ridiculous and hilarious half hours of my life. Seriously, everyone was openly hooting at the screen.

It's like the filmmakers tried to make a good movie for 2/3 and then got tired and decided to just be as preposterous and over-the-top as possible. Actual quotes uttered or overheard while leaving the theater:

-"That's one of the most implausible movies I've ever seen."
-"I've never been this delighted and satisfied by a terrible movie."
-"That was like Snakes On A Plane with better acting and production value."
-"How did they get such a good cast to agree to be in this movie?"

    Delightful.

How could it not have been mentioned yet???
"Over the Top" with Sylvester Stallone.

And just about any movie with Patrick Swayze in it.

An Amendment. That movie with Brian Bosworth, "Stone Cold", may be worse than "Over the Top".
    It's too close to call.

"They Call Me Bruce" .....terrible. I remember I thought it was so good the first time I saw it that I talked a bunch fo friends into watching it and man was I embarrassed.

Johnny Yune is a cook who is mistaken as being Bruce Lee.

Over the Top - oh man you made me laugh on that one. Hold on, I have to turn my hat backwards. Then what do you do, you bring up Stone Cold. That is a mullet dream.

One of my favorite worst movies has got to be Cobra. My wife just shakes her head when she sees me cracking up at the opening scenes.

Cobra: "Hey Amigo, let's talk I am a sucker for interesting conversation."
Hood: "I don't want to talk to you, get those TV cameras in here."
    Cobra: "I can't do that."
    Hood: "Why not?"
Cobra: "I don't deal with psychos, I put em away."

I cannot believe I remember these lines. I am cracking up as I type.

The next scene is when he gets into it with the cholo by his house. That has to be one of the greatest scenes ever. Classic.

I wonder if that was the movie that threw Bridgitte Neilson into Celebrity Rehab. Oh wait, that may have been Flavor Flav. There has to be some connection to Cobra though.

Oh! Also, let's not forget Hard to Kill, in which this actually happened:

Evil Politician (finishing campaign ad): "...and you can take that to the bank."

Steven Seagal (to TV): "I'm gonna take you to the bank...the blood bank!"

    Not exactly Casablanca-level writing there.

    Thanks for reminding me nmancini!!!

Snakes on a Plane is the ABSOLUTE, GUARANTEED, BEST bad movie of ALL TIME!!!

I went on the night it came out to this old theater in Oak Brook, just outside of Chicago, and the atmosphere was outstanding!!!

I have never been in a theater and had that much fun in my life, sober that is.

People were standing up and cheering and we were laughing insanely. I felt like I was at a Cubs game when the crowd let out a huge roar and stood up and cheered after Samuel L. Jackson proclaimed "That's it!!! I've had it with these motha-fuckin snakes!!! On this motha-fuckin plane!!!"

    OUTSTANDING!!!

Yeah, that was definitely one of my great moviegoing experiences ever...it was just like you describe. But seriously, the last half hour of Vantage Point was just like that.

Here are a couple of others that I thought about:

Demolition Man with Stallone and Snipes fighting it out in a hokey futuristic utopian society. Nice do Wesley.
Anaconda with Ice Cube (Jon Voight as a Tony Montana Tarzan is priceless).

By the way, I clicked around the tv listings after midnight last night, and low and behold what was on you ask? Evil Dead 2. I watched the possessed hand scene. I could not turn it off. I love that while he is cutting his own hand off he says, "Who's laughing now?" Then, he covers it with a tin trash can weighted down with the Farewell to Arms book. What a great movie.

Along with Top Gun I would like to nominate the classic Iron Eagle. Fantastically bad.
