    Deep fried Mars bars???

Better not let the people in The South (southeastern U.S.) hear about that. There won't be a bar left on Mars.

They're not that bad. Be sure to try one if you're ever over in Scotland.

A fish and chip shop in Brooklyn does them too.

Kinda wierd that I had my first deep fried mars bar in Brooklyn after 30 years of living in the UK and Ireland.

Mate, the english have nothing on the yanks for hating the French. Trust me. Even the most rational or extreme liberal Americans have a completely irrational hate for a country whose people they have usually never met. They are commonly known as cheese eating surrender monkies.

A publisher of a leading trade journal here in the US was meeting a French CEO on the same day as me and we passed each other in the reception area.

As I was packing up and preparing to leave, I heard the publisher ask the French CEO (from whom I am sure he hoped to extract some cash) if he was in fact German.

With a puzzled look on his face the CEO answered, "No, I am French," to which the publisher replied, "Your welcome."

I left the building audibly whistling the Marseillaise.
