The nominees for April’s award are:
Clint Dempsey
The American international became Fulham’s joint top scorer in the Barclays Premier League with his brace at the City of Manchester Stadium.

Mark Schwarzer
Schwarzer was a solid performer throughout April with a magnificent display at the Riverside Stadium topping off a fine four games.

Dickson Etuhu
The midfielder continued to impress in his role alongside Danny Murphy. He netted a spectacular strike against Manchester City.

Brede Hangeland
Hangeland was a huge presence at the back for Fulham, with his performances against Liverpool and Stoke City particularly noteworthy.

Aaron Hughes
Another fine month of performances from Hughes whose displays against Middlesbrough and Stoke City were large contributing factors to the outcomes of both games.

Worthy lads all, but I kept my vote in Texas this time.
