    Vonage is just under $30 a month (after taxes), but...
    - has 911 support
    - gives me free calls to Western Europe (my mother still lives in England)
    - allows me to check voicemail online

    Ooma is probably fine for 18-25 singles who only speak with locals, but, in that case, why not just get Skype?
