That's good..I read that a couple days ago.

It's funny, I never thought about braking like you're 'squeezin' out a loaf' as my bro-in-law calls it... but I do.

I brake lightly at first, then REAL FIRM, but not HARD.

Not only is it more efficient, it seems to help avoid developing 'wheel shimmy' when braking... which is often wrongly attributed to 'rotor warp'.

The actuality is that the rotor metal under the brake pads changes its properties when you have braked heavily then come immediately to a long term stop.
