Tyler Adams made his RB Leipzig debut and wasted no time turning in a Tyler Adams performance.

Does playing in Cyprus count as semi-retired?

I too never understood a guy starting in the Prem, not getting a legit shot.

Ha! Indeed. When viewed in a certain light, it's a brilliant career move....I'm sure Huddersfield is lovely as well.

I watched Borussia Dortmund underperform themselves into a home draw against a weaker Werder Bemen side on Saturday, but there was a reward for me.

Josh Sargent got a rare start and had a pretty lonely day as the sole target man -- imagine McBride in our 4-5-1 days. He did have a very good 2 minutes late in the second half, though, when he first forced a corner and then rose high over everyone on the kick to direct the ball in front of an open goal for a tap-in equalizer. It ended 2-2 [why do so many teams choose NOT to cover the far post on corners?] and our boy with the goofy red hair did himself a power of good.

Pulisic had a nice assist in a brief appearance for the Undead, but Lampard is going with ‘his guys’ and Christian was bought by last regime. Does anyone think that this is going to turn around?

Some of the scum kids are playing above their heads. I think our boy will be starting within a month.

I hope this is true but I’m just not sure the Chelsea kids aren’t playing above their heads.

My concern is Lampard is far more interested in developing his Derby player (Mount) and Chelscum academy kids (also potential 3 Lions players) then a foreign kid that he had no say so in signing. All things being equal, he won’t play. He has to dominate in training to sniff the pitch.

I think he also needs to dominate this international break. I can't say that he (or the Americans in general) have looked overly dominant or exciting the last few times out. Though to be honest, I'm also not sure that Cuba and Canada are going to be the type of opponents that turn club managers heads.

Caught last 30+ minutes of Ajax v Chelscum. Pulisic came on a little after and camera caught him and Dest (whom started for Ajax) greeting each other warmly. Pulisic was an instant spark plug, almost scored, then had the match winning assist.

He nearly scored in a sub appearance against Newcastle as well. Hopefully these are signs that he is settling in.
