I'l start it of with this....

    10 Manchester City... 22 -6.. 29
    11 Blackburn Rovers. 21 -5.. 28
    12 Fulham................. 22 -10 27
    13 Aston Villa............ 22 -2.. 26
    14 Newcastle United. 22 -5.. 26
    15 Middlesbrough..... 22. -6.. 24

    Bolton v Man. City
    Charlton v Middlesbrough
    West Ham v Fulham
    Man. United v Aston Villa

    Tottenham v Newcastle

team's who we can jump or who can jump us in the league table over the next round of matches.

    the perfect weekend would be win's for;
Bolton, Charlton, Fulham (really?), Man Utd, Arsenal and Spurs
the worst weekend would be to reverse this lot

No idea if Dempsey or Montella are ready to go 90 minutes, but here's a guess at a lineup anyway (now with 100% less Dempsey):

    Warner/Lastuvka/Niemi?
    Rosenior Christanval Bocanegra Qu3
    Routledge Volz Brown Radzinski
    McBride Helguson

    Bench:
    backup keeper
    Omozusi
    Zakuani
    Runstrom
    Montella

    Is Diop available?

Now this isn't what I want, necessarily, but here's what I think will give us our best result:

    Warner
    Liam, Christanval, Boca, 3U
    Routledge, Voltz, Brown, Radz
    McBride -- HH

If we bog down, get Montella [RADZ] and Runstrom [HH] on the pitch at half time. We need to take it to them. And, yes, I'm talking 4-3-3 in that instance, perhaps 3-4-3 if we push Liam up.

Go big or stay home, so they used to say in poker.

No chance Dempsey will play even if his permit is given the stamp of approval tomorrow. I believe I read it takes 14 days from the time of approval for a player to begin playing. That being said, the first match for Dempsey would be the fourth round of the FA Cup against Stoke City (because we will beat Leicester in the replay).

Look at it this way, it gives him two full weeks to get used to Cookie, the squad, and the pace. By the time the two weeks is up, he'll be champing at the bit and ready to kick ass.

I'm hoping that Cookie is going to have the lads attacking from the off. Wet Spam have been buried recently, and an early goal from us will drop some heads on the pitch as well as turn some of their "fans" against them. Conversely, if they get an early goal, we might be in trouble.

In any case, I'd like to see us continue the attacking mentality.

I agree that Fulham must be attacking right from minute one. West Ham is near the relegation zone, which is all the more reason for Coleman to stick the proverbial knife in real deep and watch the blood spurt. No mercy for the Hammers, Fulham should not just look to beat them but also send a message. That Fulham can win the "should-win" games. That Fulham can be a force. That Fulham has come to play in this second half. I believe for Fulham to make an effort to get into the top 10 this season, they need to start now and with a bang. This Saturday gives an opportunity to do that.

All easier said than done, but I would like a decisive win over West Ham all the same.

We've let a few points slip thru our fingers over the Holidaze...it's now time to make the most of this road game and get a win. The draws are nice, but we need the 3 points. So we should come out on the offensive with a 4-3-3.

    Niemi
    Liam - Christ - Boca - Que
    Rout - Brown - Volz
    HH - McBride - Radz

Well, after reading ChiTom's article, I'm more than ready for tomorrow morning. I'm still too cheap to have gotten Setanta yet, so I'll be in the chatroom and checking out MatchTracker on the Offal. I'll be wearing the jersey you see on the left. It's also unbeaten in the last six matches.

    One concern, however is here:

    http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story ... 36&cc=5901

Maybe it's just growing up with Texas pointy football, but I think it's a bad idea to give the opposing gaffer something to fire his team up with.

i gotta admit...i am kinda worried about this one. i think the whole boa morte selling swung karma against our favor in this one. if we can score early things may go differently, but i predict 2-1 west ham. but nevertheless....

Boa tends to try harder against his old teams (witness Arsenal this year). If we contain him, we win.

I agree {cause it's sports} with Don, CC pronouncements on Boa Morte, thus motivating him, certainly wont help.
    - Daily Mail
Same for his view on West Ham's chances:
If CC was managing in the states, he would have learned long ago not to do that.

I'm with you on this one as well. I really did not like reading that article Cookie put out. What better way to fire up Boa than to talk down on him in a interview! Liam is going to have a lot of work to do on the left side tomorrow.

I agree with everything Coleman said about Boa Morte....BUT, I would never had said it in the press. Bad move on Cookie's part.
