Happy Boxing Day to all my fellow FulAmericans!

My name is Spencer, Fulhamusa veterans will recognize me as the Minnesotan, politico, former pettyfog adversary, and Steed Malbranque enthusiast of the original Fulhamusa.

Anyhoo, HatterDon needled me to make a return a while back so I thought I'd make a reintroduction.

I originally became a Fulham loyalist during the early McBride days and was hooked there after. I made my first trip to London in December 2006 and witnessed a Boxing Day Draw at Stamford Bridge, I guess some things never change ;)

I have not been the most attentive fan in recent years. All things college, and the west coast time zone that came along with it, conspired to make watching Saturday morning games less than a regular occurrence.

I've recently accepted a job that will have me traveling too much to make any firm promises but I hope to get back into the Fulham loop and start contributing to the site again.

Great to have you back Spencer and a thank you to Don for the nudge. Please fill us in on the new job. I'm with Heather, time has flown. I would have guessed you were in your junior year by now, not finished with college.

Believe me Mo, I wish I was still in my junior year! I had transferred to the University of Victoria with a years worth of credits from a community college, so did a total of three, rather than four, years there before graduating in May. So under normal circumstances your estimate would only be off by a year, so not sooooo bad!

After graduating I interned with the Minnesota DFL, then worked part-time for a nascent Congressional campaign, before determining that politics is even more greasy then I wished to cope with. So now I'm working a small, for-profit, consulting firm in Minneapolis which guides the operators of affordable housing complexes in their efforts to meet their many gov't compliance requirements. Much to my relief, it turns out that there are people who will hire people with Liberal Arts degrees!

During my cursory scan of the site, I see no political threads, no Christan Franek shenanigans, and no pettyfog. How can this be?

Also, I don't know if this has been covered, but for the record, I like the third kit.

    Congrats on the job, Spencer.

Pettyfog and Franek made brief cameos on the 3rd edition of Fusa, but probably have other life projects going on. (If you two are lurking out there, please stop-by every once in awhile will ya.)

There is one recent political thread that I know of...but there are maybe two or three? You can post political threads in the Misc. area if you wish. All opinions are welcome, manners too.

And the 3rd fulham kappa kit this season is [IMG]

Welcome back Spencer!! Congrats on graduating and your new gig. College festivities on a friday/saturday night getting in the way of keeping up w/Fulham on Pacific Coast Time? Hard to imagine that  As for the 2 esteemed gentlemen mentioned, Fog did post 6 months ago to say that his interest in soccer has taken a back burner and he was focusing in on his blog and to a site that discusses refurbishing cars (or something along those lines). Christian moved to Northern California and I think back to Florida (not totally sure about that. He'll occasionally do a drive-by and post a few of his trademark one-liners.

EDIT; Happy to report that Christian was in the chatroom yesterday, just too bad it was for that dismal performance against Blackburn.
