    I've tried to help Steve on this, 'fog; he's just meter-deaf ... but it doesn't mean he's not a nice person.

    I didn't think I'd be taking part in this thread in a contributory way ... however ...

    I had decided to snooze during the United-Spurs match this afternoon, but they wouldn't let me. Spurs were full value for their 2 goal half-time lead with the much maligned Darren Bent showing how to finish given a 1/10th chance.

    Sir Red Nose responded with Tevez at the half, and the entire match turned round. United's 3rd was the prettiest and most exciting goal I've seen this season. Amazing stuff.
