Where the heck is FIFA with the Cousin decision? It's almost MARCH for goodness' sake. This has gone from unfair to outrageous to downright incompetent.

Incompetent and downright criminal. Read this

No time frame yet? Absolutely unbelieveable. Could it possibly take more than 10 minutes to determine a time frame. The gall to sit on their hands while an athlete's career is in the balance. Guess they've been too busy making those all-meaningful world rankings that place Egypt behind Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Cameroon.

You know what, I apologize to my fellow FUSAers, as in my everyday life, I try not to use vulgarity. However, I'm so new to Fulham that I haven't experienced a "relegation" yet and recent developments in the season have left me flummoxed. Somethings got to give...

Somebody on one of the other forums speculated that FIFA is planning on changing the rule this summer. So, before they make this decision, they need to decide what the rule is!

Another thing to consider...is he really worth the transfer fee now? We bid 3m assuming we would have him for 4-5 months this season. Now, even if it goes through, its only 3 months. I know we'll have him for longer than that, but the rest of this season is likely to be when we need him the most.

I can only imagine FIFA headquarters. Probably similar to the commerical in which the buck keeps being passed down until the decision is made by the kid in the mailroom. No one can be bothered to take time away from their perks and kickbacks.

And that commercial is based on Catch-22, the novel/movie. And Heller probably got the idea somewhere else.

No, they don't. The decision should be based on the rule as it currently stands, not as it might eventually be changed to read. (Of course, since they've shown in the past that they're willing to bend the rules, I'm just SURE they'll do so for us. )

Yeah, it's too late to get him for that fee now. It was being spent to avoid relegation. Fulham will probably have to fork over the fee just as they go down. Nev was right - **** FIFA.

The problem is, if FIFA okays the deal with 2 weeks left to go in the EPL season, the only person who can call it off is Daniel Cousin. Neither Rangers nor Fulham can back out if FIFA says "si." We could indeed by a striker during the January transfer window who doesn't play a minute for us through the end of the season in May.

Did everyone hear or see the news?!?!?!

...Sepp Blatter just stepped down as FIFA president and was replaced by Helen Keller.

Finally, things will get done around that office.

That's ridiculous. FIFA has different rules for the big boys and that's disgraceful.

It's a joke that the big clubs apparently don't have to follow the same rules as the rest, and it's doubly a joke that FIFA left the matter up in the air for a MONTH before resolving it.
