I'm really hoping that we don't extend our attachment to Murphy. Aside from his pedestrian outings and the fact that he's just a little faster on the turn than Franckie 3-Us, I still remember his moaning when he was with Charlton. He complained that being on "a small club" was hurting his career. He engineered a transfer to Spurs, couldn't make the starting 11 and came here on loan to stroll through our matches.

So, what about this "small club" nonsense? Here's what I think. If he gets a good run of matches and makes a difference for us this year, signs a new contract, etc., it'll be this time next year that he starts the "small club" nonsense again.

So puhleeeeeeeeeze Lawrie, don't spend any more of MAF's gelt on this front-runner.

I like your thinking, doggie, but with half Harry's team off to the African Nation's Cup in January, I don't think you'll see Pompey letting anyone go any time soon.

I think he knows he's too old now to get back into to a top end squad that is dominated by youngsters. 30 years old is a past it age now in England. If he stays at Fulham, he might can mentor Davis and some of the younger players. I think he really just wants another half-decent pay day since his big money days are over.

After causing quite a stir for awhile, all is quiet on the RB front. Is this because we want to give Omozusi a chance? Has Baird performed well enough in his latest matches to ease the growing concern from the beginning of the season? Or is this still a big priority come January?

Baird looks to have settled in and Omozusi can play there as well, so it probably isn't a priority anymore.

i noticed he played against us, has he been in the first XI for them all season? Would he be willing to come back? I've only seen highlights of him when he played for us and man was he good. I especially liked the goal against Blackburn I think it was that sealed our promotion (we were a man down as well I believe).

By all means, let's get Sean. They we can get Ron and Wyn Davies [both retired center forwards], Ray and Dave Davis of the kinks and drive the BBC announcers nuts!

Brad Davis has had a pretty good year over in MLS, if we wanted to add a Yank to that mix.

Per an article posted on the club website on Wednesday, Bullard has been training with the U18s and will move on to train with the Reserves before starting up with the First Team; the time frame is between 4 and 8 more weeks.

Jeez that's a lot of people on that injury update.

So how come Dwayne de Rosario is still in MLS? Don't you think this guy should be playing in Europe? Why don't we make a run at him?
