    Been hearing about this but couldn't find the video. I remember Tim Howard scoring a really similar goal a couple years ago. That bounce must be harder to judge than it looks...

    Granted, my son was only a U12 keeper, but he was scored on like this from a clearance by a defender. Just like here it dropped right outside the top of the box. Most likely the keeper is standing around the spot and isn't back on the line when the ball is coming. The instinct is to move up rather than wait for the ball, but then you run out of box and get caught in no-man's-land. It took months to convince my son to come off the line when the ball was up field after that incident.

    I knew it had to be his left foot. When he played for us, his biggest weakness was his inability or lack of desire to kick with his right foot. He was constantly under pressure once the rest of the league figured this out.
