I think Ricardo Clark may get a start for either Bradley or Feilhaber. I also think he might try to give Spector some playing time (I'd like to see Simek start, though)

Not sure of the line-up, but would definitely like to see a twist on who and how we lined up against them in that friendly in Frisco. To them, that was a win. The important thing is to not let their interpretation of what happened affect our play. We have to use their thoughts against them. (And a fair amount of our talent and physical ability.)

Don't know about anyone else, but I'm going to check this match out with laptop in hand, er in lap.

Anyone else for the chatroom on Thursday?

    Don,

I will be busy with the Real Salt Lake v. China match that day, but hopefully I will have some spare time to drop in and say my piece.

That lineup posted above is probably the top line the US can throw at any side, give or take a position change or two. IMO, our most talented bunch listed above.

Yes particularly when, A) junk food B) TV channel(soccer game vs. Project Runway, America's Next Top Model, Surreal life, ect,) a regular event C)computer, are involved

On one occasion last season I went to get some breakfast and left the match day chat open only to return to find the brat chatting away under my name babbling things only a teenage girl can babel. Can never be to cautious.

Haha, that is actually kind of funny. Understand that you would of been a little upset though.

Back to the game though...Can't think this is going to be that exciting of a match if it is approached the same way by both sides again. Especially if Guatemala puts all 11 players on their half of the field. Most certainly hope some entertaining football will be played and the USMNT continues to build on their success.

What time is the match EST?

If I am still here at work, I should be able to pop in to the chat for a spell.

Is it being televised on a channel?

Nevermind, I'm a dolt. I already put it on my DVR schedule, and will probably be in bed long before it.

    Lake work night.

Probably won't be that entertaining of a match, but it is all we have till August rolls around.

Copa should be entertaining, but we might not even make it through the group stage.

Have you done your brackets yet???

Here are the #1 & #2 teams I would like to see come out of each group:

    A) Canada & Haiti

    B) USA & Trinidad and Tobago (they know how to party)

    C) Mexico & Cuba (just to keep it interesting)

After that, I have to think USA, Mexico, and Canada will be the tops, but here goes:

    Quarterfinals:

    Canada v. Trinidad & Tobago

    U.S.A. v. Costa Rica

    Mexico v. Guatemala

    Haiti v. Cuba

    Semifinals:

    U.S.A. v. Canada

    Mexico v. Haiti

    Final:

    U.S.A. v. Mexico

Haven't done mine yet, but I will find a link to the groups and then post my predictions. Most logical final would be Mexico and the USA. Just don't see another side making it there.

Panama will not be happy that they were 2nd in their group and did not get to advance.
