There's tons of flat land, its just infested with swamps and Tigers.

And having lived in both London and DC, I'd have to agree with Heather...its impossible to find a good man in DC

    All in good humor. :D

Yeah, they're either married, engaged, gay, or "that team from DC" fans. So I can understand your difficulties JohnnyCash.

I had to listen to a guy whistle hail to the redskins for 8 hours on tuesday...but just the first two lines...over and over and over again.

Oh come on, could it really be that hard?! Take away the "fans of that team in DC" (which, by the way, I am nothing like them...I keep my dress wearing and pig nose flaunting within the confines of my home) there has to be a decent man...

    Mike,

I'm the coolest guy in DC if that tells you anything. This town sucks for finding people to hang out with.

At least you go to go to Long Island with all its nice beaches etc...I had to go to New Jersey which makes East Croydon look pretty.

ahhh, it's not the venue that's important, more the company......but yes, the beaches are rather nice ;)

O.K. Considering I have too much time on my hands. How many of you are considering this trip to Craven Cottage. I'm definitely in.

I've been speaking with American Airlines and they are willing to give us discounted fares to London Heathrow even if we are leaving from different cities. Just food for thought.

What kind of a discount are they talking about? I'd be flying from Atlanta if that makes a difference. AA definitely flies from Atlanta to Heathrow.

I'm seriously considering the trip but I need to do it on the cheap. I have a friend who works for IC Hotels in London. She hooked us up with a killer rate at the Intercontinental at Hyde Park Corner last time. I'll see if she can swing something like that again.

I'll keep you updated once I hear from them again. American, for me, has always been the cheapest of the airlines with regard to flying to London.

With the new job prospects, this trip is looking nearly impossible money, and time wise.

Next year...I feel like a cubs fan.

I think we are still in for it. It'll come down to money (like most things do), but we really want to go and see everyone again.

CHristmas is a good time due to the sheer number of games you can get un such short space of time. If you need help looking up travel arrangemnt I would be more than happy to help.

OK, since we are not sold in to a weekend yet, I'll list the home matches below. Not sure if Christmas is a good time since prices would most likely be high but you never know.

Please make suggestions but here the home matches for January, February and March:

    JANUARY:
    Mon 2 Sunderland
    Sat 14 Newcastle

    FEBRUARY:
    Wed 1 Tottenham
    Sat 11 WBA

    MARCH:
    Sat 4 Arsenal
    Sat 18 Chelsea
