Mike, but for a few quiet moments, the crowd was great and you could hear a lot of singing on the coverage, so nice work to you all!

On another note, I think Team_of_McBrides gave us the lyrics to a few of the songs in the chat room, which was cool to know. As someone who has not been to a game there before, maybe a song link with lyrics would be a cool add to the site.

That was a great victory and thanks again for putting together this site.

Once again, BarryP's excellent post gets him onto FUSA's 'Page 2' and read {virtue of NewsNow link} by many more than would see him on this thread.

A couple of you other guys were excerpted, as well.

its only now that i can express my jubilation.

what a header from mcbride -- he threw his body around like we was 23 all over again. sadly, this may be his last match at the cottage.

now lets go to fratton park and get another 3. its going to be tricky but i got loads of faith in the lads.

Well, I just flew in from SoCal [and, BOY, are my arms tired]. Sorry to have missed the chatroom and GJ and the general hubbub. Amazingly, on Wednesday evening I heard this voice say, "are you HatterDon?" I turn around and this young guy says "I'm Payday C4." Who'd a thunk it. We talked a little about the Whites -- he was a VERY busy man this weekend as the coach of a Georgia state champion academic team [Yeah Chris!] -- and I caught him around noon on Saturday and we -- very sedately, of course -- celebrated in the Grand Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency, Garden Grove, CA.

Well done all of you who carried the cudgel so well; congratulations to our co-founders who got to celebrate at the Cottage. Congrats to all the regional pub dwellers across the country.

It's a great time to be a supporter of the Super Whites.

NOTE: AS I TYPE THIS, KASEY KELLER IS ON FSC SKY SPORTS NEWS TALKING ABOUT HOW WE NOW HAVE OUR DESTINY IN OUR OWN HANDS. CHECK IT OUT. ESPECIALLY WHAT HE SAYS ABOUT BRIAN -- AND THEY JUST SHOWED THE TWO GOALS!!

WOO HOO! ------------ Sorry for yelling!

Oh, and finally ...

Well I am happy that the boys won the match. It makes things seem SO possible next weekend.

I am just upset that I couldn't see the game.

Anyone know if Setanta will put this on Broadband's replay? I've been holding out to watch that, but couldn't wait any longer. I was dying without knowing.

The man knows how to motivate!!!

Fulham chairman Mohamed Al Fayed put his side's remarkable 2-0 win over Birmingham down to the promise of an extra-special hamper. "I promised them a hamper full of caviar and Viagra and I think it must have worked," said the Harrods boss. (Mail on Sunday).

Well, that seals it for me: not watching games = victory (no matter was Nevtzer says!). :D

It's totally worth it to just see the highlight reels and know that the game was kick-ass. I'll be holding my breath all weekend, but I'll make no effort to actually see the game.

Let's just stay up, and focus next year on not being in the relegation zone for almost 6 months. Kudos to the guys on the pitch for keeping the faith and finding the confidence--it's gonna be a tough week all around, but having hope feels good. And may Brian McBride be the first player in his 60s still driving the ball into the back of the net with his magnificent forehead.

    COYW!!!!!!!

Match of the Day highlights for thsoe who haven't seen any of the game. Also, a very, very interesting guest was in the Directors Box which is explained at about 1:51 into the video. One for the 'Fulham fact finders' out there:

    I was there!

Wow, what a game that was! I have been in London working for the last 2 weeks and got to attend the Birmingham game with my dad as my first ever Fulham match. McBride(my favorite player since his days with the crew) scored right in front of me!

The Cottage is amazing. If you haven't been I highly recommend it for next season.

    What a first game!

If it is a very small lady with a regular size beer the guy with the beard must not be able to hold his alcohol because they are forcing him to drink from a large thimble.

In the above pics, the group of guys include: Chicago Tom, SFM, WhiteHalfofFulham.

The one above that includes FrenchConnection.

The one with Katy and a barrel of Beer is BB (to the left), katy (misswitch2) and Fletcher (FletchFFC on the official board).
