Fulham look for two in a row on Sunday with their rescheduled fixture against Jeckyll and Hyde Wigan. Originally scheduled for Friday, April 2 so as not to interfere with The Boat Race on Saturday, the match was moved to Sunday when Fulham defeated Juve to move on to the next round.

Fox Soccer Channel Plus lists the match for broadcast at 1400 eastern/1300 central, so it won't be live, but it WILL be televised.

Wigan looked like stunning Man City on their own ground until two things happened:

    1. They lost a player to a red card for a challenge that looked pretty tame to me, AND

    2. Their goalkeeper did his "Worst David James moment ever" imitation and gave the match away.

Wigan play attractive football and have beaten some pretty tough teams and lost to some cream puffs. We need one more match to get us over the "magic 40 point mark," and this should be the one.

    Fulham 3 Wigan 1

Agree HD, you never know what you are going to get w/Wigan. They have some good athletes and when they get their teeth into a match they can be a handful. However, they're not exactly Old Faithful when it comes to consistency. 3 points for the good guys.

Man, the games are so fast this year, I feel like I can't keep up. Reason #1,294 that Roy doesn't listen to message boards, I guess.

I think all of our remaining 4 home games are winnable, starting with this one. Rest Danny and Bobby or not, they can't keep up.

    2-0 Whites.

Also, when does the annulal Paul Scharner transfer runor start?

Wigan have lost their last 3 road matches and scored zero goals in those games while condeding 8 (@ city, bolton and brum). They have 5 goals total in the their last 10, and are 2-3-5 (9pts) in that span. The only real bright spot for them was a 1-0 win over the Pool, but that was at the JJB about a month ago.

I imagine we'll be resting guys again, but after the last run out, the subs should be properly threaten...er motivated to show better. I figure 1-0 for the good guys and a somewhat defensive match.

Enjoying a pre game pint and a stogie at the lion. Me thinks a draw is in the cards as I see woy sitting a few lads. However I do think if he does and the game is winnable, I see him bringing on some cats is the final quarter of an hour to push for a victory. Let's hope we are up by IBE or two and he does not have to. Nice balmy day in London approaching 60.

More importantly, happy Easter to all!

    Wiggidy-wiggidy-Wigan-whacked!

Should have been 3-1, with a converted PK after Bumble took down Dempsey at the end.

Bramble just about got the ball. Really Clattenberg had a good game and none of he shouts for penalty were deserving of a spot kick.

Murphy was absolute shit. The only player worse was Scharner. Hopefully Roy realizes Scharner would not be a good investment and Murphy is coming to the end of his career.

Good to see Okaka get a goal and a decent win.

It was three points and Okaka broke his duck. Not much else to take from this one for me.

Took a bunch of snapshots. Loaded up on snapfish. Couple of decent pics.

Even the most faithful Fulham fans had a few cracks at Murphy yesterday. What a stinker of a performance. The team is showing a lot of faith in themselves coming back from a goal down. In the end, it was a justified result as Fulham played much better in the second stanza. Over the '40' point barrier. Great job Whites.

A great and fairly sunny day at the Cottage. Nice to be able to have a beer in the garden without being completely bundled up. The conversation I overheard though at the Lion still gives me shivers. The old timer next to me said the only reason he gets out of his house is to go up to the Lion, drinks 12-15 pints of Guinness, and goes home. Everyday. He had 6 while I was there.
