I do agree with the statement that MOTM was a tie between Murphy and Zamora. I'm such a huge fan of Bobby Z, I just feel like everyone else and what him to score soooo badly. My perfect game is a 2-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford with goals from Zamora and Duece.

I think I'm going to have to splurge on two jerseys this winter. One Dempsey and Zamora.

 

Still working off the joy of yesterday. Wow, what a great time for a great win. That will make dealing with the holiday traffic a bit better this week.

Very happy with all the players and I have to say that handball was karma from the one we should have had last week.

Arca recognizes that his challenge on F5 was an ugly one, but says there was no malice in it, and admits that he got off easy and expected to see a red card for it. Southgate also says there wasn't any malice in it. It seems to me that it's pretty rare of a player to admit that he was treated leniently by a ref, so good on Arca for saying so. For what it's worth, it seemed to be pretty clearly worthy of a red but I'd agree with Arca's contention that it was reckless rather than malicious.
