Hypothetically, if we stay up: is The Wink the turning point of the season?

Thank you. How pathetic am I in that this made me more excited than completing a sale I had been working on for 6 weeks?

I believe I will be playing in my Sunday plonker league during the game. I will see the result when I get home. Plus, I do not have Setanta.
I am nervous, excited, pissed, anxious, etc... Feel free to add to the list of feelings.

For the love of GOD! I totally thought the game was tomorrow on Saturday.

Now I have to wait another day?!?! Seriously ... this season has been a trying one on me, and this ending is no different!

Well then I will be in the chat with everyone. I can't wait an extra two hours for Setanta, and I relish in the idea of hearing GJ freak the hell out when we win and stay up. And then I'll probably still watch the Setanta broadcast, because I love this team THAT much.

And man did that video send shivers down my spine. I love soccer.

Jimmy B gave a teammate a wink right before he took the free kick that beat Friedel and stole a point at Blackburn.

Okay, understand "the wink" better now. What was more, somewhat oddly in the sequence of things, perhaps ominous of a good result for Fulham was McBride's near laughing in the video.

He's loose, and confident. Christian likey!

'The WINK' is still, IMHO, the tipping point for the season.

Ok, I want to see a show of hands:

    Who has fingernails left?

    No one? Thought so.

After seeing that James and Campbell will not play, I feel a tad easier, but only a tad. I keep thinking of the Norwich match on the last match of the season a few years back, one that they had to win, and lost badly. So badly in fact that two incredible things happened that afternoon: 1-) Zat Knight scored for us; 2-) Delia Smith was seen amongst the punters, chugging what seemed to be water, rather than vodka.

On to Portsmouth, and let's win it there.

Not going to lie, I am so pumped for Sunday, yet mad (since I will be on a plane headed to Texas during the game).

Fulham have yet to win a game while I'm in the chat room, so I'll be staying away, but definitely yelling like a madman at my stream. :)

    Getting really nervous.

I am debating among suffering for 2 hours in a hole then watching the tape delay, watching the stream waking my neighbours and/or just killing myself in order to avoid the anguish. None is winning at the moment

Michael, welcome to the board! I think the first two options are the best, though I have considered the third myself.

Personally, I was already certain we would be relegated, so when they make it thru tomorrow, it will be like winning the lottery for me...sans the actual $$'s. :)
