    Okey Dokey Then......
Very good couple of points on the road and now for a cracker of a match!
This will be a hard one, going for a 1-1 draw but I think this is very very hard to call.Keep an eye out for Steven Ireland, massivley under rated but keeps everything ticking over nicely.
    So what say ye?

PS Sorry for posting this so early, just soooooo pleased with the Villa result!

It is early and I am still riding the wave of enthusiasm however I think this match can be won. Man city are super talented with Ireland, Robinho, etc. but they are also wildly inconsistent with losses to Bolton, Wigan, and Middlesbrough all away of course. We take 3 with a 3-1 win.

Hey, it's never too early to talk about next week.

I'm still too wrapped up in today to think about Leslie and his troops, but that game is definately a winnable one -- especially once they hang their heads after United gives them an old school beat down tomorrow.

I'll think of something more intelligent to say later in the week.

Scratch that, I'll think of something else to say later this week.

Okay, I've been sipping some Thanksgiving wine but I dont like Ireland (the footballer not the country). I hope we totally and utterly shut him up. I guess I dont care to see his superman underwear - what a stupid......(adjective and noun of your choice)

They are beatable,it's been proven, but we HAVE to be at the top of our game, shut down their midfield and play our football in their half of the pitch-this is lining up to be a cracker of a match!!!

No question the guy is a couple of cards shy of a full deck ex. how many funerals for his grandmother did he have to attend? the meltdown over his teammates making fun of his hair, etc....but the nutter can play, the goal he curled over Keller last season was sick. Early prediction...
    it won't be 0-0

I thought FFC were playing City, not Barcelona?

Anyway, it's at home, Fulham rules it at home, and they should be able to at least come out of this with 3 and not 1 or 0. They'll have to be careful not to let their Myriad of Stars run about, but that's always the case, isn't it?

Man City is the rictchest club in the world,it's owned by Arabs who own every thing from Casino's to Oil Wells, when United fans put petrol in their cars they are adding to City transfer Kitty! lol

To hijack the thread for just a moment, watching Man City V. Manu this morning, and I do mean EARLY, I can't think of two players who I dislike more than Rooney and Ronaldo (Dragba is right there with them). What a couple of arrogant and unappealing cry babies. I realize that the franchise has been wildly successful and always wins but they are classless. Whatever happened to the 'act like you've been there before" mentality. I realize every goal is celebrated, some more wildly than others, but Rooney's poached goal followed by his ridiculous celebration really turned me off. Ok, got that off my chest......back to FFC V. Richest Club in the world.

FRANCHISE o please god, please RR, NEVER use that word conected with football in the UK, it will get you shot mate, and your a nice guy and one of ours so we do'nt want that to happen! lol
The only club that Fr*****se could apply to is MK Dons, their owner bought the old Wimbledon football club, closed it and move it to Milton Keynes(a new town built after the war) ,but kept a place in the football league.Fr*****se is a very dirty word when conected with football in the uk.So please, mate, leave it well alone!!!

I don't know, FC United of Manchester supporters might be happy to hear the "franchise" term applied to Man Utd.

meanwhile, back to the match thread: I like us for three points on Saturday. City's attacking style leaves them very vulnerable to counterpunching, and they don't seem to have figured out how to play more conservatively on the road. Joe Hart is the best English goalkeeper extant, but he doesn't have the coherent, cohesive, and consistent support he needs from his back four.

I'm saying 2-0 to us. Our excellent November gives way to an exceptional December. Roy is the man ...

    ... having said that ...

... DAMN ROY! What's the point in predicting the lineup any more?

I'm thinking 2-0 to Fulham. ManCity has a tough time breaking down an organized team and they are vulnerable in the back. I figure SWP used 2 games worth of energy vs. ManU so he should be tired still this weekend.

I must admit I've seen about 30 seconds of ManCity this year.

But, I got a feeling our little bubble will burst and we'll lose this one.

    Fulhamish, anyone?

I've got no ill will against Ireland. He's got some swagger, an eye for goal and is fairly hilarious. (just look at his hair cut)

Thank goodness that Petrov won't be able to run riot on us again, but it isn't much of a consolation that his replacements are SWP and Robinho. The City defense isn't that solid and I know Hart has been nursing an injury as well.

Time for the Whites to net a few goals. Can't wait. COYW's

Whites take all 3 this weekend. 2-1 with goals from AJ and Deuce.

Slightly off topic, but has there been any word on rescheduling the match with that other team from Manchester?

I think the match was tenatively rescheduled for somewhere near the very end of the season.

Sorry Mr Don,just like helping out my Fulham Friends....
as the man said back to the thread...
City are blowing hot and cold at the moment, the papers over here digging about and have come up with a reason-they think that because City have SO much money, no player thinks his place is safe because they could bid silly money for any player anywhere!, also the manager is'nt sure even if his place is safe! The rumours are that that young keeper of there's is worried he'll be sold as the owners want to sign a big name keeper, just because they can-it's all turned a bit fantasy football and nobody knows where they stand-time for us to take advantage I think.......... 8)
