FFC International Membership?

second, congratulations Don. Maybe you'll get one of those raffled jerseys yet.

If there is a leadership position that needs attention, I'll do it.

 

I think it is all up for debate but in my honest opinion, I saw this as being a FulhamUSA thing considering the more members we have the more the more everyone benefits. The hope is FUSA gets enough members to have player sponsorship thrown in for free.

With that said, its up to everyone who has ever read this board, posted, registered, etc. Becoming official is something I've worked hard at convincing people here at FFC to do. It wasn't easy, just as Tom.

The first step is to get a secretary. Second is to round the troops.

Initial thoughts?

 

Love it. Count me in. I'd like for it to be done before Europa starts so I can get priority on tickets, if possible. Anyone else planning on seeing the 3rd Qualifying Round on 30 July/Aug 6th?

 

I'm game (for membership, that is...NOT the secretary position!). Based on the sale of the player sponsorship shares, we ought to be able to hit the 25-member mark quite easily with this crew.

I await further instructions.

100 memberships cost £3500. How much did the kit sponsorship cost last year? Looks like 50 shares at $30 or $1500 or, what, £1000-ish? (It was £550 for the second half of the 2007-08 season according to this article displaying a picture of two of FUSA's favorite characters, so £1000 for a full season sounds right.) In view of the fact that that's included for a club with 100 members or more, that seems like a great goal. I can certainly put the word out to some folks I know who support Fulham but don't post here.

 

Bought mine -- Mike, please let the hierarchy at FFC know I want my membership to count for FUSA.

 

Mike, one thing just occurred to me - if they're trying to make the international membership appeal to international fans, is there any way they could have the payment be made in currency other than pounds?

 

Actually the way I understood the International section of the site (http://www.fulhamfc.com/Tickets/Members ... Clubs.aspx) is that everyone buys their membership separately and then fills out the form letting FFC know who is in FUSA's Official Members Group.

Or maybe not?

 

I agree with Mike, we should be one big FUSA club rather than break into regions. Being in the same club as Nevzter, jmh, 'dog, BC, Don, and the carolininans will do wonders for my self esteem.

To all who have bought already -- please send me your client reference number via PM -- this looks to be the seven digit number that you were issued when you completed your order. The sooner we get 10, then 25 members, the sooner we can get a bump up in status.


To clear up some confusion, I asked Mike if I could be the point of contact (sec'y) for this endeavor and he said OK.
