MARTIN Jol has predicted a bright future for young gun Buomesca Tue Na Banga – but doesn't want to pile too much pressure on the talented teenager.

The wing wizard was a big hit in the club's U18 side last season and has been training with the first-team during pre-season.

'Mesca' shone in the win at Wycombe Wanderers last month and was on the scoresheet against Nice at the weekend.

And boss Jul is predicting big things for the 19-year-old, but insists he's one for the future.

He said: “Mesca joined us last year from Chelsea. I believed in him and we gave him a contract.

“He started with the development squad but has trained with us quite a few times.

“He's exciting, but don't expect too much from him because he's 19 and a terrific talent.”

Anyone here think he'll see any first team action this year? Maybe a Carling Cup or early FA Cup appearance?

I think there's a good chance we'll see him. I just hope that, when we do, he doesn't make a mistake and get buried by Jol -- see Kasami and Sa.

Youngster handed Fulham chance

MARTIN Jol hopes youngster Buomesca Tue Na Banga can compete for a place in the Fulham first-team squad once he returns to fitness.
The 18-year-old winger burst onto the scene during pre-season and was handed a squad number by Whites manager Jol.
'Mesca' as he has been dubbed by his boss is highly rated at Craven Cottage, but is currently nursing a knee problem.
And Jol insists there's no reason why the former Chelsea trainee can't follow in the footsteps of Kerim Frei and Alex Kacaniklic and break into the first-team squad.

“Mesca has a problem with his knee,” said the Dutchman. “He had the same problem when he was at Chelsea so they released him.
“He did very well over the last year and was in my squad pre-season. He played quite a few games.
“We would like to involve him when he's fit again.”
