Is Cherundolo still hurt? Spector and Hejduk will hold it down.

Anyway, good to see EJ work his way back.

No Wynne. Damn, he's one of my new favorites.

Good to see EJ back in favor with Bradley. However, he will be lucky to see any action. Just my opinion. He may make the bench for T&T though.

Wouldn't Heath Pearce start over Spector?

Pearce is a left back. Spector is the logical choice with 'dolo out. He plays RB for West Ham.

Spector mainly plays left out for West Ham. He's only started two games (and come on as a sub four times) all season.

I almost feel like we are cheating have both Tim Howard and Brad Guzan on our team.......

    But I still love it!

Seems to me qualifying is early, and this may be Spectors chance to punch his ticket. Bob will take closer look at Wynne later.

Guzan gets a wee bit of a tester coming up, in, this little place they call Old Trafford.

Or did that change? My opinion, I like Friedel okay, but that was defo red card.

If by "defo a red card" you mean it was definately a red card, then the FA disagrees with you. Friedel and Aston Villa appealed to the FA, and they rescinded (sp?) the red card. Friedel is cleared to play against Man U.

As said, my opinion. I side with the referees on this one, defo.

Would have enjoyed Guzan out there in a truly awesome baptismal environment. Oh well.

So, who's got a lineup for the away match? Come on, guys. I figure if we win that one, Bradley will release Spector, Dempsey, Pearce, Boca, and Gooch for return to league duty.

Okay Don, I'll give it a go even though I dont really know where a few of these guys should be playing

    Spector-----Gooch------Boca----------Pearce----

    Dempsey---Kljestan---Bradley----Beasley

    --------'cakes--------Ching'-----------

I like it, Mo. Normally, I'd pick Adu over Beas, but Freddy has been milk-carton material lately, so I think you've nailed it.

Good aggressive lineup, kiddo. If we win, we don't have to worry much about Wednesday's match -- nor much of the remaing matrix round for that matter.

I'm hoping that the US and Mark's Aussies can both qualify for South Africa this weekend.

Okay, USsoccer.com says that Saturday's match is on Telefutura and ESPN2. So, because I was thinking about it tonight, I went on to Time Warner Cable to record the match [I have a gig while the match is going on, natch]. Thing is, ESPN2 and ESPN Classic both have NCAA Hockey on Saturday night.

So, has USSOCCER.COM got the details wrong? Or is Time Warner Cable messed up? WHO HAS THE GAME SATURDAY?

    Inquiring minds, etc.

Wow, my schedule on DirecTV no longer shows it either. I thought ESPN was carrying it.

I'm hoping for a Bradley/Torres CM pairing at some point. Importantly, I hope I get to see the match too.
