No Adebayor, no Lungberg, no Henry.

    I'm lovin' it!

Yeah, it makes me happy too.. but Don you know they're still going to run all over the place on us.

I bet they start Bendtner now.

Every Gunner loss is equal to a Fulham gain. Stop Van Persie, who is sick in my opinion, and points will be had. COYW!

Sounds like they took quite a beating in the off season. That definitely does play well to our advantage.

As I always tell my kids team - It doesn't have to be a pretty win in order for it to be a win.

Arsenal can weather the loss of Henry. He barely played last year and they were fine. If Van Persie misses a lot of time they will be in trouble. Bendtner and the new guy da Silva are pretty good. They won't miss Ljungberg too much. An aging, bald, Scandinavian midfielder who is constantly injured? He was Arsenal's version of Claus Jensen!

I would be happy with a point from this match, but I don't ecpect it.

A expect us to lose as well, but a draw wouldn't be a bad way to start the season. "Losing well", like 1-0, wouldn't be bad either.

I don't want us starting off the season with a loss OR with no goals. Although we're a day or so early for the usual "Arsenal v. Fulham [R]" thread, I'm looking for 1-1 or 1-2 even.

    Got Greed!?!

Jeez, Arse being without Adebayor and possibly also Baptista and Van Persie puts Hughes' injury in perspective.

I am going to predict 1-1; but anything has to be better then the 5-1 loss to Man U opening weekend last season.

I would be thrilled with a draw. It will be pretty tough to beat the gooners on opening day, but I will be ready to cheer for it Sunday!

I'll be up at 7am, NOT wearing my kit, because of the hammering we got last year on the opener....... No one expects us to get anything out of this match because who are we? Yes we are Fulham.... I suspect arsenal will dominate possession. It is whether they can capitalize on it that will tell the tale of the game. If we can get some of LS's long balls up to a striker or two we might have a chance at a draw....

I'm calling for a 1-1 draw, and I would consider that a good match.

A draw would be a great result, but mostly I am hoping for a solid performance and an organized defense. a 1-0 loss would not be horrible, but a loss is still a loss and that sucks. praying for a miracle, living in reality.
