Tony Sanneh was brought into Columbus Crew, mid-season- from Nurnberg, to provide leadership and a little form to the midfield and it worked well... he was instrumental in a couple of away wins and draws to extend the Crew's unbeaten streak and things looked like they were going great.

However... during the first playoff match with NE, Chad Marshall - Crew's MLS Rookie of the Year candidate- while setting up to defend on a corner pointed out an unmarked player to Sanneh and told him to cover.

Sanneh slapped him in the face and told him he was playing when Marshall was in diapers.

Sanneh - gone to Chicago for problematic Ante Razov
    Marshall - here

    Good management!!!!!!!

Didnt help either when Sanneh, later, called Jeff Cunningham off taking a penalty, then botched it himself, ending up in Crew dropping out in playoff first round.

Well, ChiTom.... maybe Tony learned something, maybe not. Meantime Razov is looking a whole lot better to me.
