Pompey are out. Calamity James rides again. Braga beats Herrnveen to move on to the knoci-out rounds. Ahhh, Sonia. Sigh.

Villa lose at home but go through to the next round. Brad Guzan discovers the joy of playing with Zat. "Knight appeared to duck under a cross" that skidded past Guzan's outstretched hand for a goal. Zat? Would he really do that?

Aston Villa v. CSKA Moskova is the best of the round of 32. Wagner-Love is a force.

A.C. Milan still solidly and inescapably the favorite to win it all.

    Go on Standard & NEC!!!

Brad Guzan gets good experience in the Cup, but has a bad experience on the day. Aston Villa, take a seat please.

On Sky Sports, 'Arry all but said they're gifting this one to focus on the Calder Cup final and their relegation battle. Doesn't hurt that so many of Spurs players are cup-tied or injured.

Speaking of cup-tied, does this only apply to the Euro tourneys or the FA and Calder as well?

any day that includes AC Milan getting knocked out of the UEFA Cup by a mid-table German side is a GOOD DAY!
