Chelsea holds Barca scoreless, which hadn't happened yet this year. They must've parked a bus in front of the goal...or paid off the ref.

Not entirely true; Barca were shut out by Numancia in the very first league match of the year, but hadn't been since. Chelsea just played very solid defense. Cech didn't even really have a whole lot to do.

...but yes, they parked the bus. Good thing is, they'll be exhausted when they play us on Saturday.

Barca dominated the match everywhere but the scoreboard. Chelesea managed three shots and two of them were handed to them by Barca. Even on the road I expect Barca to pull this one out.

Totally parked the bus. I saw 6 defenders back in a straight line across the box at one point.

The one thought that struck me as I watched the match last night was how toothless Chelsea's midfield looked. Fouling was the best option they had for slowing down Barca.

Barca seemed a little aprehensive about shooting at times, which was very odd.

Good knowledge, jmh (are you my personal fact-checker?).

While Barca dominated, I predict they won't go through. They're moaning and bitching today about Chelsea's negative football, and I suspect Chelsea are 'in their heads' right now. 120 more scoreless minutes and a penalty shootout victory for Chelsea.

Hello repeat of last year's final...

Have to agree w/Nev about Barca's immaturity. The whining they do is totally ridiculous. If they weren't playing the Scum there is no way I'd pull for them.

Really pulling for Barca today, not only because they're up against Chelski or because of their gorgeous style.

Really good article in the London Times about Barca the organization:

I heard a stat about Barca I couldn't believe: 90+ goals combined this year and counting from the trio of Henry, Messi and Eto'o - wow.

They need to bring the same sort of away form they brought to Real on the weekend. Look for Chelsea to go for an early goal and then shut up shop.

Since we are in the predicting mood, look for Barca to score two quick, give at least one maybe two back, and a much more thrilling finish (and 75:00) than yesterday at the end.

    Up the Barca!!

I hate to say it, but I think United are going to tear Barcelona's makeshift back line apart in the final.

Time for Chelsea to face the music.

God, I can't stand that team. I hope UEFA kicks them right in the ass.

Even if fate was different and I was a passionate fan of, say, a big four team, or only the MLS, I still wouldn't think I could stand them. Talk about no class.
