Personally for me it's Dempsey. He's really the guy who got me hooked on the club.

I'm like most FFCUSA fans who got hooked on the club with all the american players.

Who makes u happy in the whites?

Well, he hasn't played much this year, but my main man is everybody's favorite German -- Moritz Volz. He gives it all every match, and his versatility was critical for us in 2006-2007. And he even scored against the Scum!

I don't know how he fits into Roy's plans, but I'll be his fan until he hangs them up.

This is a tough one, and Don I knew you would pick Voltzy just from your posts I thought you had a thing for him :).....if it was November I would say have said Dempsey but as I became familiar with the team I would say Hangeland.

I love the big guy! He takes up so much space and did such a great job for the defense.

McBride and Davies finish a close 'tied for second'.

Right now, all of them. Even Chris Baird looks good. Sort of.

Stefanovic is another exception to the rule -- if that's how you feel, then don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.

It is a hard call, but I have to say that I was happy to see Dempsey get some help from McBride and Bullard.

I find myself walking around every now and then saying:
    Jimmy Bullard Jimmy Bullard

I have to say that I am so happy with the team right now that I have been in a little bit of cruise control. Unfortunately, the Galaxy is tainting that at the moment.

BULLARD without Jimmy back in the side we would have been relegated without a doubt. 100% BULLARD

great thread Greg! I was thinking about this yesterday and I gotta go w/ Wink! Big Mac is and always has been my favorite, but Wink is right there with him! Glad he's committed to staying with us.

well, i have to go with Smertin, since i got his jersey and all.

However, since his injuries and not making it back to the first team, I will go with Hangeland. He made some great plays that hhelped keep us up. I do think he and boca would be a great team back there, apparently Woy thinks Hughes better fits that bill.

Until he decides to come home (fingers crossed the captain plays one more year) it's IronHead. Jimmy B has that Pied Piper quality that makes anyone follow him.

    Toughie...

I have to go with McBride, his grit, leadership, and clutch goals are priceless. Please stay Brian!

But I agree with Martin and SoCalJoe about Bullard. He is a very weird lookin' guy, but he is a very underrated midfielder who's return to action improved the team dramatically. I really hope he sticks around for a long time, because the Big 4 will be calling soon. When McBride leaves, Bullard will be my favorite player (Dempsey would be my #1, were it not for his hip-hop act)

As an aside: Who is better at setpieces in the EPL than Bullard?

Dempsey for me. I grew up in Lufkin, TX (sister town to Nacogdoches) so I've got a soft spot for the local boy who made good. That and I can appreciate the truly astronomical odds he overcame to find his way from BFE to the EPL. Not much soccer played in the Pineywoods.

Taking off my American hat, probably Bullard.

My favorites were Dempsey and McBride (gotta pull for americans in the EPL!) But right now I am loving Bullard and Nevland. As a reserve Nevland really seems to be a spark!

My ultimate favorite Fulham player has to be HeiĆ°ar Helguson, but Moritz Volz is my favorite currently in the squad :D Just the fact that he's from germany made me love him when I first heard about him =P

Obviously McBride and Bullard are up there as my faves. Dempsey was my favorite before he disappeared for half the season.

Outside of those obvious names, Konchesky and Murphy are tied.

    Have to go with McBride.

Also like the others people mentioned Volzy, Smertin, Bullard, add Murphy to that. Hopefully Omuzui can keep at it aswell I like what I've seen from him so far.

I'll have to go w/ Ironhead, and Bully is a close second.

Also, I heard Murphy is also considered to be a really good guy to be with at dinner or over a pint, can anyone else shine some light on that?
