    RE: what

Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato. Or at least it sounds the best to me right at this moment. Of course, a Club sounds delicious as well. With a side of fries, please. And a Sprite.

    Man, I'm HUNGRY!!

HatterMom makes an incredible sandwich. It doesn't matter what the meat, it's the spinach leaves, baby Swiss cheese, sprouts, red onions, and humus spread on the wheat toast that makes it rock. Oh, that and a couple of sweet pickles and vegetable chips on the side.

Oh, and a hot pastrami on rye from Katz's Deli in Manhattan don't suck either!

One of m fav's is a sandwich that pretty much only New Englanders know, a Fluffernutter. It's peanut butter and Fluff (Marshmallow Fluff) http://www.marshmallowfluff.com/

Peanut Butter (no Jif or Skippy Spencer!) and Red Raspberry Jam on Whole Grain.

It is the best pre-ride, during ride, and recovery meal on the planet.

Otherwise, nothing is better than a Reuben.

    No Jif?
WTH... you should read up. jif is the best PB you can easily get. Onna those rare instances where the best seller is the best.
If it wasnt, Smuckers wouldnt have bought it from P & G.

Yeah... Smuckers makes it now.. you saying Smuckers makes anything 'crappy'?

Agree on the Reuben, though. a GOOD Reuben, especially

PB and banana! Thought I was the only one.
Here's something even better, shaved dark chocolate, or dark choc drops on it, too

Agree, reuben and bacon, lettuce, and tomato are the best of the classic sandwich's.

Tuna salad is yummy classic too but you cant trust other people to make it.

Hattermom's sandwich sounds good too. I'll have to try it. While I cant imagine Don is a chauvinist, it seems like the missus spends a lot of time making him tea and sandwich's.

Here's a good one that is different - french bread, sliced chicken, havarti, sliced sandwich pickle, and chutney. Sounds weird but is tasty.

'Fog, ridgerider probably nixed the jiff and skippy because as a californian he's required to use that natural peanut butter gunk - you the stuff that tastes the same as a mouthful of chewed up peanuts. PB&J is a classic but too sweet - it's for kids

What can I say, Mo; she loves me.

For all you PB&J fanatics, if you find yourself in Detroit's airport, go to the food concourse and look for a place called "Strictly PB&J." They have maybe a dozen types of peanut butter, tons of jelly/preserves choices, and fantastic bread.

Warning! One PB&J is NOT a snack. It is an entire meal. I was doing a lot of gym work when I had mine, and I was used to the PB&J's I made at home for snack meals 2 or 4. This thing was like a half-pounder. Seriously yummy, though.

Roast Turkey Sandwich from Gracie's in San Carlos, CA.
Fresh carved, right off the bird in front of you (dark meat, please), mayo & fixin's, on a fresh baked Oatmeal Bun. Wash it down with a rootbeer (I have to go back to work). MMMMMMM

(Nev, I am sure you've been there...)
