    hmmm . . . this is what happens when you give stupid people lots of money.


    Actually, the amniotic membrane has been shown to improve the healing of wounds. They use it in cornea repair. But I believe it is always applied to the actual wound. Never heard of anyone using the fluid on the skin to repair damage below to ligaments or something. Baby pee and massage - good luck to him.

    In jungle survival school, we were taught that urine was a good disinfectant. Since doctors are hard to find when you're a downed airman and since jungles tend not to be the cleanest place on earth, we were basically told, "If you get a cut, an abrasion, or a puncture ... piss on it." Obviously, this works best on an injury to the legs or feet.

    Here's .. sorta.. where the technology stimulus money went
    - not BAD news.
    Yet.

    And not a single penny went here.. because sometimes one tinker makes a breakthrough!
