Fulham will host West Bromwich Albion tomorrow (Tuesday, October 25th) in the 3rd round of the Carling Cup. I am guessing we will see an unchanged team from Saturday's squad that defeated Liverpool. The only difference will be in goal where I am thinking Tony Warner will get the start in place of the injured Mark Crossley. I like Warner better than Crossley anyways.

I think Fulham needs to take this competition seriously. I think this is a solid way to get into Europe if we can get a good draw and string some wins together. it is obviously easier said than done, but I hope the team comes out and plays hard tomorrow.

This should be an easy win for fulham. But then, this is the same team that beat Arsenal a few weeks ago.

I agree with you Tom that we need to take this tournament seriously. A win is a win, wether its in the league or not. Lets see if we can get on a roll. We're in a stretch until christmas that we can amass quite a few points if we play well and move up in the table.

Well it looks like we'll be with out the following players: Crossley, the two Jensens, McBride, and Radz.

So no McBride and Radz probably means we'll see Helguson and CJ up front?!

Zat Knight will probably start thus, here is my starting line up:

    Warner
    Volz Zesh Zat Green
    Elrich Steed Bouba Boa
    HH CJ

I think we will see Liam Rosenior in at LB for Niclas Jensen.

Good call Tom, I completely forgot Liam even played this weekend. For the short time he was in, he did quite well. He had his usual lightning fast runs up the wing and even a few good passes.

I agree, change my LB to Liam.

It's a great opportunity for HH and Elrich to show what they can do.

Has anybody seen the Liverpool match? How did Elrich look? I still don't know what to think of him.

He looked okay. One could definitely see his pace. Whether it was moving forward or retreating back on defense he has some good wheels. All in all, he was decent. Nothing spectacular, but nothing bad either. Remember, it was only his first League start. It might take him a bit of time to get acquainted with the style of play in England. With a guy that has his pace, he will prove to be a valuable asset to this team.

He did miss a sitter in the opening 4 minutes. Wide open net and he sailed it into the Putney End stands. That was his only bad moment of the day from what I saw.

why won't mcbride or the jensen's play, are they all injured or are they being held back so they are fresh for the next league game?

McBride has a slight foot injury and Jensen has been playing with a slight knee injury, so both will be rested.

Knight, Pearce, Leacock and Rehman across the back. Cookie said he's serious about winning this one but it sure doesn't look like it with that lineup.

Yes, that tends to happen when he gets over-excited.
