That said, Eddie Lewis may have a better left foot, but in the top flight of football which he never experienced, he was not subjected to that same pressure as Beckham against top class defenders. Malcolm McDonald, well I remember him making the switch from Cottager to Hatter, but he was a local Fulham supporting lad, who came good, returned us to a proud team that was sold down the river by that chairman. Anyway, how did you feel when Alec Stock (and Viv Busby) came to Fulham and took them to the FAC final in '75 - or am I showing MY age.. :twisted:

I left about a month before the Hatters signed him and I got back just after they sold him to ToonTown. I thought Alec Stock was a good manager and I would never say anything negative about him. I was pleased to see him successful. As for Busby, he was a talented but excessively lazy git. The Brits who stood around me on the Maple Road terraces used to egg me on when I'd get on his back. Credit to the bloke though, he never made a rude gesture to me. PCB! Are you accusing LBno11 of hijacking his own thread?
