You can watch it online at USSoccer.com. A local Cleveland kid (from the club where my son plays) will be starting at RB so I plan on trying to watch. Players the rest of you might be interested in are Luca de la Torre from Fulham's academy and Joshua Perez, nephew of the former US MNT star.

Hugo Perez. I hadnt heard of him until I read some article a while back discussing the greatest US players of all time. I was surprised when a name was mentioned that I didnt know. Here is an ESPN article on him if you are still drawing a blank.

The U17s looked pretty good I thought, but it's hard to judge watching online. They lost 2-1 with the winning goal for Portugal being scored in extra time from a corner kick header, a nice header too. The US possessed the ball well but werent all that dangerous in attack whereas Portugal was kind of the opposite. Fulham's Luca de la Torre is a playmaker. He obviously likes to dribble so he holds the ball too long but that's not a disaster at his age. He's a good player. Perez seems similar. The kid from Cleveland did really well at left back too, but that's no surprise ;)

It looked like our players were smaller than Portugal's so we might have played younger players than them. I know the kid from Cleveland is only 15. If we were significantly younger then that is a good sign. My son thought the US was better than Portugal anyway. I did not

Finally, they play England on Wednesday at pm ET. I think it will be streamed online by US Soccer

U17s beat England 5-1 and Brazil tied Portugal 1-1. According to Ives website Fulham's Luca de la Torre was key contributor, although I still cant find any evidence on the offal that Torre is a part of Fulham.

Despite losing their first game to Portugal, the US U17s ended up winning the Nike Intl friendlies by beating England 5-1 and Brazil 4-1. In the latter game, Brazil received two red cards and stopped playing completely in the final minutes. You can actually watch the entire game here.

I'm not surprised by Brazil's behavior and deserved red cards. I've seen some youth Brazilian teams behave despicably. One team was spitting on the opposing team's players - the ref eventually red-carded the entire team. Why a team would travel thousands of miles to play and behave like that is beyond me. I how a coach could allow it is even more beyond me.
