US Soccer Feb. 29th

    Pretty good day all around for US Soccer. They should probably schedule friendlies for Feb 29th more often.

    Reyna, Meola, Armstrong, and DiCicco elected to Hall of Fame
    US Women beat Denmark 5-0
    US Men beat Italy 0-1
    USMNT U-23's beat Mexico 2-0. And from the write-up it sounds like it could have been by a wider margin.

    Not sure what it is, but every time I hear Joe Corona's name I get thirsty? :cool:

    As good as the US's day was, El Tri's senior team lost to Columbia by the same 2-0 scoreline as their U23 did.

    I'm really looking forward to seeing the U23 team this summer (if they qualify) in London.

    How the hell can they charge $150 for a polyester t-shirt, AKA the new away USA Soccer Jersey? I'd love to have one to commemorate this HUGE victory, but 150 bucks? C'mon.
