It looks like US Track & Field is rebuilding its long distance running program. Olympic trials for the marathon were Saturday and the US runners posted some great times on a difficult course. Two time world record holder Khalid Khannouchi came in fourth so that gives you an idea of how deep the US runners are. By all accounts it was a fantastic race, but was marred by a terrible tragedy.

Mo; saw a commercial on ESPN for their new 60 Minutes-type show called E:60 (original name huh?), one of the stories for the next show is about the tragedy.

Thanks SoCal, I'll try to catch the show. I've heard speculation but I've not heard the actual autopsy results.
