US / Mexico at Azteca Sunday

    This is the best chance the US has had in years to beat them at their house.

    There is a difference in that a Mexico loss at Azteca has always been of the ambush variety... and they NEVER take the US lightly anymore; in fact the Mex coach angered several clubs by insisting that ALL the premium players show up.

    But there's a good chance that US wont have a former tried and true striker who has always been put in when the match was critical.

    SO I'm not the only one who sees this.. at least someone has written it.

    Likewise Boca is in danger of losing his spot in central defense... it's arguable as to whether his stint at Fulham has taught him ANYTHING that will help him with the National Team.
    Meantime there's plenty of talent coming up in MLS... who wont suffer from doubts as to their own capabilities.

    This makes the US team DEEPER than it's ever been but doesnt improve the quality of the starting eleven.
