I saw the hype, I know how to work the remote. I avoided the show. I'm a geezer who's always watched the boob tube and I had this called when it was first announced.

And I didnt avoid it for obvious personal reasons, either - I WILL watch Lifetime series.. like 'Army Wives' and I WILL watch 'Ellen' if I've nothing better to do.

Rosie made her mark, after standup, as a movie character actor/sidekick and she was great at that. Then she had an afternoon talk/variety show which was pretty funny and interesting. But then she started taking herself really seriously and did a magazine, then thought we cared what her opinions were on any topical issue.

She's no Oprah.

Hell, she's no longer even a celebrity.
