    Didn’t watch all of it, but what I did watch of the Merseyside Derby this morning was somewhat eye opening. The blistering pace.
    Lordy.
    I kept thinking that if we were one of the opponents in this match we’d be getting drilled.

    Somebody name me a better strike partnership right now than Son Heung-min and Harry Kane.

    I was going to say Mother Jones and John Mitchell paired up to lead a number of successful strikes for miners and garment workers, but then I saw you said "right now" and of course Jones and Mitchell were most active in the early 1900's so I'll have to agree that Son and Kane are the best right now.

    The thing is that each of them is quite happy with the assist rather than the goal.

    It has to have been years since a centre-forward led the top flight in assists.
