    I LOVE it! Only sorta weird thing is the number on the front.

    I like how it resembles the flag without being cheesy. Gonna have to wait for the price to go down though.

    I've been waiting for red and white stripes, but I was hoping they'd be vertical rather than hoops. Dont like the tight look, I hope that's not the way they'll look on the players. Tight hoops not a good idea for the beer guzzling tailgaters and could even make a fit athlete look not so fit.

    The big blank for the number on front and back is going to hinder sales. It's going to look stupid if you dont pay extra for a number and that'll put the price up to aroun $165

    Yeah, it's funny how they squeezed 13 stripes on that shirt. At first I was only counting 12, but they got that last one on the very bottom tip.

    I would get one...if they PAID ME $150. Seriously, who in their right mind decided to go with the candy cane look?? Insert barber shop quartet, candy stripper nurses jokes now. Close to the 1994 WC faded blue w/stars in terms of ugliness.

    The more I look at it, I'm not sure about that faint sash. Looks almost like a mistake. I think i'll have to see it in person to fully judge.

    Still a huge fan of the hoops though.

    I like the new blue one much better.

    I agree with Joe, these things suck. What happened to the days of wearing a white kit with some blue and red on it? The World Cup jerseys from 2002 were good and so were the white kit from the last world cup. These things look like a horrible knockoff of the old Canadiens jersey.

    Gotta agree with the author on the 2006 third jersey. Love that old fashioned badge, but I wouldn't mind the 1988 badge either--just anything but that shooting soccer ball badge. :eusa-snooty:

    I agree about the soccer ball badge, not a fan at all. After seeing the 94' denim look again on the link, without a doubt those were the worst.

    Had to go searching for this thread after watching the U20 team look miserable on the pitch and in the Hoops jerseys, albeit in a 2-1 victory and perhaps this thread should be renamed;

    The CURSE of the New Shirt :scared-ghostface: How else can you explain the total demise of practically all US national teams? :whistle: Before Mo can say 'Klinsmann' let me just say that adopting the barbershop quartet look was not a good idea in the first place and I'm counting the days when those horrendous jerseys disappear.

    They have actually grown on me.

    While the national team switched to blue numbers, the youth teams are still using the silver numbers.

    That said, the US is coming out with some special centennial jerseys at some point this year and I love the old crest.

    I think that will be the first and last US replica jersey I purchase.

    I assume that's the home jersey. Wonder what the away jerseys will look like?
