Good job Whitesbhoy. Hope it's a success. My sister in-law coaches a team down in Sarasota but I believe that's too far for U8s to travel.

I'd love to bring my sons U12 team down from St. Louis, but we'll be on vacation in the Grand Canyon then. Your area is a very popular vacation spot for St. Louisans...I know at least a dozen people who own condos or time shares in the Destin area.

I notice that you guys play 8v8 at U12. Round here, we currently play 11v11 at U12, but there is a movement to switch to 8v8 next year. Seems we are out of step with the rest of the country in that regard.

Oh yes, we get our fair share of St. Louisans. In fact, our neighbors are from there.

Yes, 8 v. 8 work very well, and we play on a pitch that is 80 x 50, or a little smaller. Gives the kids time on the ball and certainly helps their fitness. Our U-10s play on a 55 x 45 pitch with 6 v. 6. Those are good matches as well.

Props to you Christian and double props for wearing the USA jersey! Way to represent. Which reminds me, I didnt see the US Youth soccer logo on your website. Is your league not affiliated?

    Thanks for the props, Mo!

We are NOT affiliated. Because, well, we (I) haven't figured out any advantages to being so yet. And I sure as hell ain't going to pay them $1,000.00+ every year for their affiliation logo on our website.

Now if they want to pay us $1,000.00,....
