The Great House Vote Grab

A passing item of interest in the national news.. but of significance when considering how sick our guv'mint is.

It all came about when a vote on a republican sponsored bill was gaveled closed while some reps were changing their votes to pass it.

At the time of the drop of the gavel the vote was tied, effectively defeating it.

No sooner had the echo faded, than the final tally showed that the bill passed. The Dem leadersip however ignored the change.

Now there will be a bipartisan 'investigation'.. which will evidently be long and leisurely and only be finally released when most of the electioneering for '08 is over.
